With over 25 years of experience in personal injury and insurance law, David Lavoie is a strong advocate dedicated to securing justice for those who have been injured or wrongfully denied benefits. As a senior lawyer at the firm, David brings deep litigation expertise and a reputation for excellence, having successfully led numerous trials, mediations, and complex negotiations on behalf of his clients. He has also worked as a mediator helping other lawyers resolve complex injury cases.

David understands that most cases settle—but when fair resolution isn’t possible outside the courtroom, he doesn’t hesitate to take a stand at trial.

A graduate of the University of British Columbia, David earned both his undergraduate and law degrees there before being called to the British Columbia Bar in 1993. He is also a proud member of the Alberta Bar. Today, his practice is focused exclusively on representing injured individuals and those unfairly treated by insurance companies.

David’s insights into insurance tactics are unmatched. Having spent part of his career representing insurers, he knows how they evaluate claims, assess risk, and build their defences. He now leverages this experience to his clients’ benefit.

Outside of his legal work, David enjoys spending time with his family and rescue dog, Leo. His interests include music, travel, and tackling home renovation projects with the same precision and passion he brings to every case.
