Personal Injury Lawyer

Michael grew up in Ontario and graduated from Trent University with a degree in economics. He then went on to earn a law degree from Western University.

Early in his career, Michael worked as a tax lawyer in both Calgary and Vancouver. Wanting to directly serve the people in his community, he transitioned his practice to civil litigation, with an emphasis on estate litigation. He has successfully appeared before numerous courts and tribunals, including the B.C. Supreme Court, B.C. Provincial Court, and the Tax Court of Canada.

Prior to joining Preszler Injury Lawyers, Michael spent 3.5 years practising at an insurance defence firm. He now uses his knowledge of defending claims for the benefit of his clients. With Michael, clients can expect an empathetic lawyer who is as invested in their recovery as in the resolution of their claim.

Outside of the office, Michael spends time with his wife, two young children and two excitable golden retrievers. In addition to walks along the Bow River, he tries hard to master his wood-fired pizza oven.
